Join the DRES PTA for a campus clean-up! Saturday October 7th from 8:20am-11:30am.
Durant Road Elementary School features a beautiful natural campus. Please join us on Saturday, October 7 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. as we work together to maintain this wonderful learning environment. Families and students are invited to come trim, plant, and mulch all around the campus. While we will have some tools available, we encourage families to bring weed whackers, hedge trimmers, rakes, wheelbarrows, gloves, and other gardening equipment. And, a pick-up truck or two would be great to haul items to the landfill. Lunch will be provided for all participants. Thank you for your support of DRES! Click on the image for our sign-up form.

It’s time to get cutting and save those Box Tops! All you have to do is clip Box Tops from hundreds of family products from brands like Cheerios, Betty Crocker, Hefty, Kleenex, Pillsbury, Ziploc, and more!
Simply cut those Box Tops and turn them in with your student! Each grade will have a collection bin and students will simply deposit their Box Tops in the bin. The grade level who turns in the most Box Tops will win a Popsicle party! Please visit www.btfe.com for more information on the Box Tops for Education program, and THANK YOU for your support! Our school has the opportunity to win $2,500, and do its part in saving the planet! We’re participating in a five-state energy conservation program from Duke Energy, and through this program, our families and staff can request a FREE Energy Kit to be delivered to their homes. For every 100 kit requests from our school, we’ll automatically win $250, and the school that requests the most kits by December 31st will win $2,500!
Please help us out and request your FREE kit! Go to MyEnergyKit.org or call 1-855-386-9548. PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS! Join the DRES PTA for a campus clean-up! Saturday October 7th from 8:20am-11:30am.
